Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Slipstream, an independent tool operated by Jake D'Amico ("Slipstream", "we", "us"), governing your use of the website and service at slipstream.jakedami.co. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Slipstream transfers content you provide — videos and photos, with optional captions — to your own TikTok account's inbox as a draft, using TikTok's official Content Posting API. Slipstream never publishes content to your account: drafts are reviewed, edited, and posted by you, inside TikTok. Slipstream is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and old enough to hold a valid TikTok account under TikTok's own terms. If you use the service on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind them to these Terms.

4. Your account and access

• You may only connect TikTok accounts that you own or are expressly authorized to manage.
• Access to the service may be gated by an access code. You are responsible for keeping your access code and connected sessions secure, and for all activity that occurs through them.
• You may disconnect Slipstream at any time from your TikTok app settings (Settings → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions), which revokes its access to your account.

5. Your content

You retain all ownership rights in the content you upload. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to receive, temporarily process, and transmit that content to TikTok, solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This license ends when the transfer completes; we do not retain copies of your content. You are solely responsible for your content, and you represent that you hold all rights necessary to upload and publish it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that violates any third party's rights, including intellectual-property and privacy rights;
• Use the service in violation of TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or developer policies;
• Attempt to probe, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure;
• Reverse engineer, resell, or misrepresent the service, or use it to deceive others about the origin of content.

We may suspend or revoke access for violations of this section.

7. Third-party services

The service depends on TikTok's platform and APIs. Your use of TikTok, including anything you publish there, remains governed by TikTok's own terms and policies. We are not responsible for TikTok's availability, conduct, or handling of your data, and TikTok may change or restrict its APIs in ways that affect the service.

8. Intellectual property

The Slipstream name, logo, website, and software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding or to copy the service. All TikTok trademarks belong to TikTok.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time; disconnecting Slipstream in your TikTok settings and clearing your browser storage removes its access and any locally held data. We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time, with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms or to comply with TikTok's policies. Sections 5–13 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that drafts will be delivered within any particular time, as delivery depends on TikTok's systems.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slipstream and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose or fifty US dollars (US$50).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slipstream and its operator from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or of any third party's rights.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and note material changes on this page. Your continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later.
